How does interphase precipitation work for alloy hardening?
Name two characterisation techniques that could be used to image interphase precipitation.
Interphase precipitation:-
Interphase precipitation is the process of treating of alloy materials which are weaker bonding between the inner planes of the alloy. This may be a problem for proper usage of alloy under different conditions as per there usage
There are some types used like plannar and non planar interphase precipitation.
Various techniques are used to make the alloy to reach to our required charecterstics.
Some of the recent workings on this interphase precipitation are like Fe interphase precipitation in Si-Sio2 alloy and Co-W-C alloy interphase precipitation.
The ultimate need of this process is to make the alloy mixture uniform in its charecterstics through out its stcture by treatment of allowable metals supplied to the interphase of the alloys.
