Answer to Question 4 is as follows-

Employee monitoring is the act of surveilling employees through various methods to track their performance, protect trade secrets, address security concerns, etc.

In my opinion, employee monitoring is necessary. When I say this, I mean that employee monitoring which can be known and secretive both is supported in my argument. It is necessary to check the employees' performance, monitor the engagement, track attendance, ensure security, and many more.

In some cases, employee monitoring can lead to positive effects, and in some cases, it can lower the morale of the employees.

Some pros are-

• Helps in uncovering problems which boosts the morale
• Helps in increasing efficiency
• Enhances communication

Some cons are-

• The employees might feel left-out
• They also might feel that they are not a part of the company
• Privacy issues of the employees might be violated

Employee monitoring can make the organization more secure because-

• Has a direct relation to data security
• Helps in recordkeeping, to avoid further concerns
• Helps to monitor and ensure safe practices are being followed
