America followed the policy of isolationism through the end of world war 1. It stopped interfering in the matter of europe and started to build its economy as America was suffering from depression at that time. America didn't want to involve in any type of conflict. President Wilson advised Americans to stay out of the war.
The United States became a world power.20. It ramped up its natural resources in a very short period. U.S economic output doubled during this time. America had developed a comparative advantage in the mass production of goods. It rose to a great military power. Due to heavy exports to the Europe, America gained a large amount of economic benefit also.
WW1 shaped the American foreign policy and political ideology. IT affected lives of Americans and created a normalcy in their life. America gained a steady state of neutrality and President promoted America to stay out of the war and focused on finding solution for recession in the America at that time.
