Graphical displays are used to provide the viewer information that illustrates qualitative or quantitative information about the data set under review. After reading the assigned sections in Chapter 2, please provide an example of where you think a graphical display could be used incorrectly. What ramification(s) do you think could result from the graphical display in your example being used incorrectly?
Answer:
For displaying large amounts of Complex Data, good graphs are extremely powerful tools as they turn the information into require format with knowledge and a clear view. Some Graphs may mislead or deceive as the Graph Designer chooses to show the information for impression for a better view and in some other cases as the Designer wants the graph to meet the values exactly and honestly but unfortunately by choosing poor choice of Graph form or Graph construction, it may happen. The Display of the graph can be incorrect if the graph as per requirement does not meet by the selection of the Graph.
It leads to wastage of time and efforts as no conclusions can be reached by the Wrong graph. Sometimes the information can be missed while plotting a graph.
