When looking at data on average life expectancy in different developed countries, the average life expectancy in the United States is significantly lower than that of many other developed countries. What are three factors that contribute to this lower life expectancy, and how are they related to each other? What is a realistic way to help reduce these problems?
Answer. The 3 factors that contribute to lower life expectancy in US are:
However, beside these factors accidents rate is high along with the drug abuse also contributes to decreased life expectancy in the US.
According to the US Center for Disease Control and prevention, health service inequality is the prime reason for decreased life expectancy. Certain group of people are not getting the right treatment at the right moment, and at the same they have increased risk to cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Poor medication leads to their death.
Infant mortality rate or IMR refers to the number of births compared to the number of deaths of children under the age of an year. This rate is also quite high in US, as people marry late thus there is increased risk to various diseases and getting abnormal child. Pregnancy with advanced age increases the chances of abnormality in the child because of increased probability of abnormal meiosis and at the same health facilities inequality causes the death of the infants.
Risk to cardiovascular diseases can be reduced by eating right, and by doing exercise. If health facility should be provided to every individual without any inequality at the right time, the death rate will reduce. Marrying at the right age and providing proper care to the new born infant will deduce the infant mortality rate. Adoption of these factors, will lead to increased life expectancy.
