These changes will be facilitated by newer technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and automation, and force companies to rethink their existing structures and guidelines”
In the context of the above statement, critically discuss the Human Resource Planning cycle that any organisation of your choice can follow in developing a Human Resource Plan for its organization. (25)
Human Resource Planning Cycle is a cyclic process where the resources are goals for the human resource ar achieved effectively and efficiently. During this covid-19 situation, the human resource planning cycle has to ensure that the technologies of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Automation would be effectively utilised to make sure this HRP process is effectively implemented:
1. Planning and Estimation: Using the AI, IoT and Automation technologies, the HR manager would ensure that how much employees are effectively required to complete the jobs, how to use the internet to find the right candidates, making the right tests and schedules to select the employees and automation technologies where the robotic technologies could be used to select and design the right interview for the candidates selected.
2. Evaluation and Training: These IoT, Automation and AI technologies could then be use to create the best human data management skilld and strategies to ensure that the employees are performing and are getting trained as per the the required analysis and needs. These training is effectively providing and given using the internet where the employees are need not to be present phsyically in the workplace. Using the internet and video training, one can provide training through conference, conduct meetings, seminars etc using the best technologies at this times of covid-19.
3. Controlling: At last, using these technologies one can ensure that the tasks and the performance of the employees are being performed as per the standards and norms of the company. The control metrics are effectively set up by the AI and IoT to make sure the company's software systems are advanced enough to control the performance, calculate the payment, assign the job bonus etc using the data effectivity and management.
