So, there are three types of protiens of plasma membrane that encloses eukaryotic cells. The first one is integral membrane protiens that is permanently anchored or part of the membrane actually they have atleast one hydrophobic core of the phospholipid bilayer.Such protiens perform its function as a transporter, maintain the basic channel like potassium channel, linkers, receptors, and it involve in the accumulation of energy, and it also responsible for cell adhesion. The second peripheral membrane and its attched to the lipids bilayer and its perform some basic functions like transportation to various locations in the cell, signaling, and helps in maintaining the structure of the cell. The third one is lipid anchored protiens there fuctions are to serves to anchor protien to the cell membrane its also a type of proteolipids and its helps in interaction and can contribute to the function of the protiens.
