What is the purpose of publishing in a scientific journal?

In our scientific world publishing a research work in a scientific journal is considered most necesarry and an act of moral values (in science family) because of the following reason:

1. We become part of the scientific world by sharing our knowledge.
   • Publishing work does not mean publishing a research work only, we can give out some research ideas, some form of literature review, and many things related to science. By doing so we generously provide a stepping stone to the next generation to refer and come up with extra knowledge and new idea from it.
2. We might be considered as an expert in our field.
   • Knowing something and keeping it to ourself will never gain us extra knowledge and not a name in the society, but if we share our thoughts with other through a journal publication which reach out to many scientists in that particular field will gain our name in the scientific society and will open the door opportunity.
3. Publishing the findings will fetch a chance to grow the concept.
   • If a work is published in a journal, scientists from the same field may refer or repeat to the work and double-check your findings which would be helpful to mankind in various regions of our planet.
4. Standardization and expertise in scientific theories and experimental findings.
   • Your finding might make a benchmark for a step or an experimental process in the world of science and can be used universally if published and allowed to refer by other scientists.
