In their personal lives, people routinely purchase goods or services. At times, they "need" or "want" something new; or it is time to replace/replenish an existing product. Whether they need to purchase groceries, buy gas for the car, or stretch a bit to get that exciting new toy, their investment in "goods" is ongoing. Similarly, they utilize the services that companies provide to enrich, replenish, fulfill, maintain, or enhance their lives. Describe how a marketer could develop differing marketing strategies to target your personal use of goods or services. Provide a real-world example of a marketer who does this.
Marketer would develop different marketing strategies in order to target customers as follows-
A. Marketer should be always trying to identify the target group first because he will be always try to specify the target group and then design the product accordingly.
B. Marketer should be trying to identify the criteria of segregation of different groups of customers and he should be specifying the criteria of targeting the customers also.
C. He shall try to examine the use of products and trend in the use of products and the adaptation to the new products by this customers so that he can design the products according to their need
D. marketer can even use social media platform in order to target these customer and they can use low cost marketing strategies also which are more focused at personal targeting.
E. Generation of questionnaires and forms which will be specifying the want and need of the customers from the business so that product should be developed accordingly.
F. Adaptation to the changes in the dynamic world and changes in the preference of the customer should be prioritised by the marketer and product should be developed accordingly.
For example, recently Zoom has updated its application and provided more user friendly interface in order to attract more customers during pendemic.
