For example: the moment students graduates ans starts to look for work they are officiallly unemployed. After a few weeks of application and interviews, the student might be offered a job but perhaps the pay is too low or the location not quite what the student wanted. The student remains unemployed only after a few weeks more does the student find and accepts a job and officialy exits unemployment and enter employment. The student period of unemployment thats FRICTIONAL UNEMPLOYMENT. Now friction unemployment is important because it indicates that individuals are seeking better positions by choice. It helps businesses because it gives them a variety of tallented section of potentially highly qualified and educated candidates applying for jobs.
