A pipe is carrying liquid at 60 degrees C, that fluctuates in pressure from 0 to 60,000 kPa (non-capped). The inside diameter of the pipe is 20 mm and the wall thickness is 1 mm and is made out of 1095 carbon steel, has a yield strength of 813 MPa and an ultimate tensile strength of 1260 MPa. Using the "Modified-Goodman" failure criteria and a reliability factor of 99%, determine the number of cycles till failure on the inside wall. You can assume that the pipe will have a machined surface finish.?
