The company name that should be considered will be the one having good brand name and years of experience. The company should be leader in software business and having core competency only in software. No matter if the company is having diversified portfolio of various software and hardware, but only thing matter here is the company having strong values related to software. Also, they should be the one strongly renowned amongst the people. Moreover, the financials of the company should be strong.
Software name that should be chosen from the chosen company should be the one that perfectly aligns with our requirements. Also, the company should able to modify or more precisely personify the software according to our project needs and which helps us to simply our tasks to a much greater extent. Also, the software chosen should be the one which minimize most of the manual work and rather saves most of the time and cost by switching to automatic work based on plethora of predefined algorithms.
Years on market plays an important role as more years of market is directly proportional to stronger customer base and strongly built trust. Also, if the years in the market will be more, there are high chances for the company providing excellent service to the customers where more and more people are spreading positive word of mouth for the company. Most important point here to consider is that if the company is old enough, and surviving in this competitive market, therefore, it must be having some unique competencies by which it is capable to serve its entire customer base and that too with an excellent service, Therefore, for our project, we should consider the company which is older than 20 years and renowned.
Customer review/feedback, this is important as you can research on the company by numerous ways. For example, may be on internet, print media, advertisements etc., but there are chances of window dressing. The real reviews will be taken by the existing customers as well as the customers who were working with them at some point of time but now they are not, thus they will be the one who will give you the positive or negative feedback from which you can identify how exactly the company works as well as maintain relationships with their clients. They will be discuss with you the negative points as well as the flaws in the company or lags in the processes, because once upon a time , they were also at your place, finding the best possible solution for the problem.
Price plays an important factor in selecting the best suitable software. Its not always about choosing the cheapest option or the most expensive option. But it should be chosen according to the valuation. Both the partner companies will keep in mind the profitability and the overall forecasted profit they will generate by investing amount of money. The software company is investing its money with the help of technicians, on the other hand, if the buyer i.e. we are spending money to buy the software, thus beforehand we should keep in mind, the profit we are going to make with this investment. Therefore, the price, service, most importantly post sales plays an important role here, reason being any company can’t be chosen if they are providing excellent pre sales service but fails to deliver post sales service which in the case of software plays an important role for the working of the smooth operation.
Another factor that can be considered is the relationship. This is because if a company build strong relationships with their clients, they consider this as a core part of their values, they can provide better service. Since, they consider keeping their clients close to them and know that 1 happy customer will bring 10 more customers with them, but 1 unhappy customer will take 20 happy customers with them.
