Lupus or the SLE ( Systemic lupus erythematosus) is an autoimmune disorder ( group of disease within) in which body,s immune system attacks own healthy cell by some faulty mechanism or the mistake.

Lupus is commonly or famously also known as the butterfly disorder because the butterfly rash around nose and cheek is seen in lupus only and this is its diagostic or unique feature.

SLE can affect skin , joints , kidney brain etc.

While in this list the rheumatoid arthrits and hashimoto thyroiditis are both also autoimmune disorders.

Rheumatoid arthiritis is the auto immune disorder in which multiple joints are affected and also creates a morning stiffness of more than 40 minutes .

RA affects the brain , heart . joints , skin and subcutanous nodules creating the chorea in the brain ; leaking of spinal content and jerks in body , red circle rash on skin called erythema marginatum.

inflammation of all layers of heart called pancarditis and painful and redness and swelling in the joints called arthiritis.

But it doesnot have the butterfly rash

hashimoto thyroditis is also an autoimmune disorder in which the thyroid gets enlarged and increases in size and it produces the symptoms of thyroid later and there is no butterfly rash.

myasthenia gravis is a kind of neuromuscular disorder in which there is a weakness of the skeletal muscles and no such rash is seen in this.
