1. Clear: The language used in the business letter should always be clear, as it helps the receiver to understand the message immediately, easily, and clearly. Any ambiguity will lead to the misinterpretation of the message stated by the sender. The language used in the business letter should be always simple and easy.

2. Concise: The message written in the letter by the sender must be concise and always to the point.

3. Concrete: The message is written must be concrete and specific. By using concrete language, a reader will have a clear and specific picture of the message.

4. Correct: One must always check for the correct/accuracy of the business letter. Correct/Accuracy generally means no error in grammar, spelling, punctuations etc. Correct personnel should always be targeted for communication.

5. Coherent: The language used in the business letter must be coherent. The message must be in a logical way for the clear understanding of the message for the reader

6. Complete: One must always write a complete message. It helps the reader to know about the issue and the solution to be taken.
