Question 1. Use the disease transmission model as a basis for responding to the three following multipart questions. Your answers are expected to be qualitative or semi-quantitative (e.g. more or less, higher or lower, faster or slower) only. (B) Social distancing and wearing face masks are proving to be highly effective in slowing the spread of the Coronavirus. If you were using the disease transmission model to simulate how these social behaviors slow the spread of the disease, which one factor (S, I, m, or b) in the model would you change? How would you change this particular factor (increase or decrease) to simulate slowing the spread of the disease and why? Explain.

As we know,SARS(Covid-19) pandemic has distrubed normal life of humanbeings, though the whole world may be under "lockdown",nothing can deter the word, power and authority.

Pathology is the study of diseases, evry disease is transmitting from one person to another by diffent mediums,it may be air, water, oral or through vector. Some diseases trasmit through animals &plants also.

Typhoid:salmonella typhi (bacteria)-water(transmitting medium)

AIDS:HIV (virus)-*sexual mode of trasmission

*blood transfusion

*mother to child during pregancy or breast-feeding

*contaminated instruments like syringes,needles etc

Tuberculosis-Mycobacterium-droplets(air borne disease)

like this transmission of diseases varies.

CORONA virus also came under air borne disease.

  • Its main symptoms are fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, tiredness, nausea etc..,
  • in someone throught pain and headache, body pains are the symptoms
  • in others olfatory sence is not working.
  • some people are not facing any symptoms but they are positive for covid-19.
  • evry day number of cases and deathes increases world wide due to this pandemic
  • There is no vaccination for this
  • for to treat the covid patients Ezyithromycin,Chloroquin are using.
  • it had spike proteins,envelope,nucleocapsid protein,membrane protein,rna,small envelope proteins.

Precautions:it is mostly airbone diseases so for to protect overselves we must follow some methods.they are:

  1. Social distencing :Avoid social gatherings can reduce the risk, keep a 6 ft distance from people, why beacuse whenever we sneeze or cough, mocroorganisms in that are spread fastly to our surrounding peoples.
  2. Usage of mask&face shield:Mask prevent us from the harmful viruses.this virus easily spread through nose and eyes so glasses and mask is essential for to protect air trasmission.
  3. Usage of hand santizer prevent us from the contaminated things around us.
  4. Avoid shake hands is the best thing,in place of that "namasthe"culture is good.
  5. Taking of high amount of water help us to kill the virus in stomach.it cant survive on the ph of the stomach.
  6. taking high amounts of lemon, ginger, tea like things which are natural immune boosters.
  7. By these methods and social distancing we reduce the rates of death and as well as cases.

S means suspected cases:suspected cases are high in number beacause so many factors or self awarenss they come forward for to test.

I means Infected cases:by social distancing and preventive measures we reduce this cases, why beacuse whenever we are modify our life style then we saw a change.

M means mortality cases:automatically mortality rate decrease.
