Racism is hostile behaviour or an attitude,prejudice or opposition directed against other sect of people because they to different race,color or ethinicity.

YAMATO’S TYPES OF RACISM

AWARE BLATANT RACISM :people are deliberately racist. They believe in their dominance of their color and they will let the other people of other color to know about it.Example they believe that middle eastern people should be targeted with extra security at airports,docks because they might belong to an terrorist gang.

AWARE COVERT RACISM:This form of racism is very prevalent in these days.According to this type people will act or behave in a racist way but in secret,their racially biased decisions are hidden with an explanation or excuse that might be acceptable in society.Example not hiring someone,or giving home for rent because of racial issues but coming up with an excuse to hide it.

UNAWARE/UNINTENTIONAL RACISM

This is the type of racism where people underestimates or ignore the intelligence or trust of particular people because of their race,ethinicity or color.Example latin American people are told that their English speaking ability is good when they are a native English speakers.

UNAWARE SELF RIGHTEOUS RACISM:This is the type of racism where people attempt to show their sense of authority and superiority rather than real motive towards racism.Example a white racist attemps to mock blacks for being blacker or scorns Chinese Americans who don’t speak Chinese.

INTERNALIZED RACISM:In this type of racism in general,the person or specific group have been targeted by the racists ends up believing many of the bad or negative things that are said by the other dominant culture or society.Example dominant culture shows images of white people being beautiful,beautyness is being white.Thus it creates an oppression amoung the blacks like they are not beautiful because they arent white.
