Here In Statistics we are always doing the sampling for saving the time, cost etc. Here whenever we doing the sampling one important problem arries to Statistician how to calculate sample size . Following are some important factor and important thing tobe considered while determining the sample size .

Here while determining the sample size we should be noted that the sample size should be representative. I.e the sample contains the much more information about population.

Now heigher sample size resultant lower variabily in parameter estimation. Here we couldn't take much big sample because analysing big sample it needs manpower, cost and time consuming. Generally Statistician preferred to choose 20% of population as sample size. But it is not appropriate in all scenario.

In this scenario we have to investigate the preference of people for smartphones. Here the population size is 16000. Our parameter intrest is that the preference of people for smartphones.

Here it is also keep in mind that some of them are not use smartphone or not interested in smartphones.

Actually There is no any Standerd formula for calculating exact sample size. We can calculate sample size Using formula .

According to standard and your aim you should take sample of 20% to 30% people from 16,000 population who use the smartphones. i.e you should take sample of 3,200 to 48,000 peoples from the 16,000 population. And the conduct your survey asking them about preference about smartphones. And then you can statistically say that people's are preferring these smartphones.

Note that, in Statistics there is the formula for calculating sample size but they are not appropriate in all scenario.

Hope you understood then RATE POSITIVE ?. In case of any queries please feel free to ask in comment box.

Thank you.

Many people feel the federal minimum wage of $7.25 is too low, and a minimum wage closer to $9 is more appropriate. I would like two arguments to be from the notes, and one to be your own argument. Please make the case, rather than just provide bullet points.
