Do you believe most businesses in the United States follow strict ethical standards? Make sure to offer some support in defense of your answer.
Answer:
I believe the majority of companies
in the U.S. are becoming tighter about their ethical practises.
Many administrators and organisations have to deal with ethical
dilemmas often, and the problems are getting even more complicated.
Here are only a couple of the dilemmas that threaten today's
managers and employees:
Brands — In-your-face ad strategies have ignited anti-brand
sentiments by people who view promotions as misleading and
dishonest.
Sweatshops — Students have formed anti-sweatshop groups at many
colleges which picket manufacturers of clothing, toy makers, and
retailers.
Religion at work — Many workers in the office are pursuing
spiritual rebirth, partially representing a greater religious
revival in America, although some contend that this movement is in
violation of religious freedom and separation of church and
boardroom.
