1900 – 2200 19

2200 – 0100                              13

A cashier may start work at the beginning of any one of the shifts and, having begun, works 9 consecutive hours. Each cashier is paid $15 per hour.

Formulate the employee scheduling problem that minimizes the total daily cost, meeting the minimum level of each shift’s requirements. Implement this problem into excel and solve for the optimal solutions.
