Discuss how the COVID 19 pandemic team can use Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to assess and eradicate the spread of COVID 19 in Ghana
Failure Mode and Effect Analysis can be seen as a well developed, systematic and proactive method that is being used by the decision-makers to assess the certain activity or process to find out where the process may fail and in what form the failure might result and to evaluate the comparative effect of the various failures so that the various areas of improvement can be identified where special attention has to be paid.
This method can be used by the Ghana government to identify the different areas which are more prone to the spread of the COVID 19 virus such as crowded market places, religious places, and so on. Then they can develop a system or a model to identify the extent of the proliferation of viruses among the population and the possible carriers of the virus. Once the sources and possible carriers of the virus are identified, the government can then try to find out the different modes and mediums that can be used to contain the spread of the virus and how to prevent the healthy population from getting infected. The government can develop the different types of action plans to avoid the incidence where the mob or larger number of people can be gathered and increase the probability of infection
