For the last two questions, information from this documentary on "A Good Death," filmed in Australia, may be helpful. The entire video is 45 minutes, but it's not necessary to watch the entire video in order to answer the questions.

What is the difference between acute care/intensive care, and palliative care? Give examples of each. 2 paragraph psychology question.. i am wondering also why my questions aren't been answered?
Note: This response is in UK English, please paste the response to MS Word and you should be able to spot discrepancies easily.
The delay in providing answers is regrettable. However, I assume it is because there are many questions and few teachers for this particular subject.
(Answer) Acute care: It is when the patient has a severe problem that is immediately dealt with. In the time when the patient is being cared for, it is active treatment.
Example: When a patient who is allergic to peanuts had hives and a rash all over their body from swallowing a peanut, they receive acute care. They are given a shot, a few tests are run, the patient recovers quickly and is then discharged.
Intensive care: This is when the patient has a severe medical issue and they need intensive medical aid. When a patient is in the ICU they are being treated and put under observation. This is because their condition needs to be monitored. Their situation becomes delicate and doctors have to make sure that patients are responding well to the medicines.
Example: If an individual gets an asthma attack, the doctors will treat the patient in an ICU. The doctors will simultaneously observe the condition of the patient to make sure that the treatment is working.
Palliative care: The patient here will mostly have an illness that has no cure. However, palliative care consists of treatments that offer relief to symptoms and help de-stress a patient or their family by placating their condition.
Example: A patient suffering from Alzheimer’s can be put into palliative care as there is no cure. They can be put under medication to ease any episodes they may probably have, and offer aid to the family if possible.
