We know that most of the cars use fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are are decreasing in amount. Its exploration needs tremendous energy and burning of fossil fuel pollutes environment. So automobile sector is at the verge of changing from fossil fuel energised cars to sustainable energy mode.
If the automobile sector is undergoing a transition from fossil fuel engines to electric engine or another alternatives, automobile companies should try hard for survival. They have to spend a lot of money in research and development sector. They have to develop infrastructure for charging stations instead of petrol bunks.
If car engines have to be abandoned for new generation cars, proper recycling of every parts must be there. The new cars must be eco-friendly and super performers in their respective segments. So a company may think of a step by step transformation to alternatives.
New car industries will be using different technologies and manufacturing methods. Hence one, who is reluctant to accept transitions will be side lined.
