Artherosclerosis is a disease of the arteries characterized by the deposition of fatty material on their inner walls.Plaque may rupture ,causing acute occulsion of the artery by clot.Artherosclerosis happens when the endothelium becomes damaged ,due to factors such as smoking,high blood pressure or fat or cholestrol in the blood.This damage allows a collection of substances known asplaque,to build up in the artery wall.These substances include fat and cholestrol.Apolipoproteins B or ApoB is responsible in forming LDL ,which is the bad cholestrol damages endothelium and cause artherosclerosis.C reactive protein is blood causes this disease .A soy protein ,as a part of diet low in satu-rated fat and cholestrol and may reduce the risk of atherosclerosis.Lack of physical activity causes blood cholestrol level high,diabetis ,overweight ,obesity etc increases risk of artheroscelorisis.Proper exercise,stop smoking,eating healthy foods,manage stress etc reduces risk of artherosclerosis.
