Solutions

Expert Solution

Ans. Intensity means how strong of a response is & Duration means how long a stimulus lasts for. Stimulus modality, also called sensory modality, is one aspect of a stimulus or what is perceived after a stimulus. All sensory modalities work together to heighten stimuli sensation when necessary. Sensory stimulation is the activation of one or more of the senses including taste, smell, vision, hearing, and touch. It can range from something as simple as a hand massage with scented lotion or listening to a playlist of favourite music to more complicated activities designed to provide a sensory experience.

Light modality and sound modality relies on duration

Pressure modality relies on intensity
