Expert Solution

The farmers grew sheep for both meat and skin (wool). But now the fashion industry has included a number of synthetic materials like nylon, that has replaced the wollen clothes in our closets. Moreover the meat that is got from a sheep is far less when compared to a goat. Due to this reason the sheep meat is more costly. This costly meat has been replaced by a number of cheaper alternatives like the prok, goat meat or the chicken. Moreover, the taste and priority of people keep changing over the time. Variety always adds spice to life. Thereby, people switch to economically competent products that yeild the same satisfaction and quality . Hence there is no suprise element in it.

There is an increase in the number of goats and flourishing of goat meat due to preferences by the migrants. Moreover the goat meat is more healthier than the sheep meat. The sheeps contain intra muscular fat which causes the health defects in its conception. Whereas, the goat meat is prefered for its high nutrition containing omega-3 fatty acids, saturated fat etc,. It is also easier for a farmer to rear a goat and deliver its meal because it feed over any grass that is present in the farm. Hence goat meat  would make an healthy alternative for the other meats in the food industry.
