1. The given statement is true, if the employed persons figure
increases, unemployment rate must increases. Because labor force is
the total sum of employed and unemployed persons. So as employment
rate rises, unemployment will fall and as employment figures falls,
unemployment will rise.
2. A gig economy refers to a situation where few people work full
time job and most organisation hire people only for short periods
of time ( temperory jobs).
Gig economy leads to increase unemployment rate. Unemployment
should be higher because gig economy workers should be counted as
