How often must a theory be correct to be accurate or useful? (it is also reasonable to provide two or more different viewpoints and compare/contrast them)
The theory is build upon a hypothesis. If a null hypothesis is not rejected than the theory can be build on it.Hypothesis is a statement but when proved scientifically with rational data then it becomes a theory. Hence theory is a statement which is considered to be true that is it has validity. Hence taking theory to be universally correct statement a theory must nearly be true always to be qualified as useful and accurate. If theory is not always true than its validity need to be checked or it should be replaced with scientifically more supported accurate theory or a realted theory should merge with its so that it becames true almost every time.
