Solutions

Expert Solution

Solution:

6) Both B and C. Helicobacter pylori causes stomach ulcers as well as stomach cancers. It is a bacteria infection that causes gastitis and peptic ulcers throughout the world. The Helicobacter pylori penetrates the mucosal lining of stomach and develops substances that neutralize the negative effects of acidic pH in the stomach. This infection converts the endothelial cells of stomach more prone to HCL attack and leads to ulcers.

7) All of the above. All of the provided Escherichia coli strains EPEC, ETEC and EIEC causes gasteroenteritis. Among these the Enterotoxigenic E coli (ETEC) is th chief strain that causes this disease.

8) The protein. A subunit vaccine do not contains live components of th cell. Generally proteins are considered as antigenic regions that evoke an immune respose. So in a sub unit vaccine protein is the prefereble candidate.

9) Negative. During complement- fixation test if the reaction is negative, then the complement is free to interact with the blood cells, and lyse them to produce red or pink color.

10) True. Anti-antibodies are very specific in binding to their correct counterpart. Here The anti- human IgG is gamma reactive and only binds with human IgG but not with other Ig's
