It is quite simple to manipulate and hide data according to personal preferences and as a result, the true nature or motive of the study or research is lost. Hence, statistical methods of inference, estimation etc. does not have any meaning then. People may be unethical while collecting data as well as inferring from it. So one should be careful and completely honest about the source of the data as well as the terminal where it is being analysed. It is to be noted that numbers don't lie but their interpretation and representation can be misleading.

Dallas and LA have similar weather conditions in terms of annual high temperatures. Also, San Diego and Richmond Virginia also shares close temperature. In spite of not sharing similar geographical locations the cities can show similar temperature because the temperature does not only depend on the amount of sunlight it is receiving but also a number of other factors. The amount of greenhouse gases, humidity level and many other factors play an important role for determining the temperature of a particular location. Hence, the overall effect of these factors have led to similar temperature of these cities.
