molar mass of CH3COOH = 60.05 g/mol

Therefore,

moles = mass/molar mass

          = x g of CH3COOH/60.05 g/mol

From molarity,

molarity = moles of CH3COOH (mol)/volume of solution (L)

knowing volume of solution and molarity,

we can calculate,

moles CH3COOH = molarity of CH3COOH x volume of solution

CH3COOH is a monoprotic acid which reacts with 1 mole of added base in solution

moles of CH3COOH present in solution = moles of base added
