What would be a further explanation and/or example of each for the life cycle of euthanasia, unemployment, and health care?
1. Euthanasia
Initial Diagnosis - A patient is diagnosed with a painful severe disease. This is the first stage where the patient needs more support and motivation to overcome.
Continuous treatment - The treatment after diagnosis is going to be continuous to check whether there is going to be any improvement.
Unbearable pain - During this cycle the patients will undergo an episode of unbearable pain which will force them to request for euthanasia but will be denied.
Useless existence - During this cycle, both the patient and the doctor or relative will come to know that there is no meaning in keeping one in prolonging pain
Euthanasia - This is the end of the life cycle although it is not allowed in many countries.
2. Unemployment
Introduction - During this cycle people look out for jobs that matching their qualification and skills.
Search intensity - Finding a job depends on the intensity of one's job search.
Job - During this cycle one gets the job and start to contribute
Market Transitions & Skill mismatch - This cycle come as expected where the initial qualifications and skills do not match and the employees are expected to fill the gap. Another thing is that the changing labour market which depends on the company's growth and profit. When the profit is down, employees with less qualification and skill will be made redundant.
Unemployment - During this cycle the person goes unemployed.
3. Health care
Introduction - The health care scheme is implemented
Providing - Most of the health care companies hesitate to provide health care because of the high prices of medicine and service. Insurance companies come into the picture. So providing health care is achieved
Financing - Governments finance the insurance companies
Improving or Terminating - Governments rethink about the financing by comparing the standard of health care against the money spent on it. Based on that they either request the service providers to improve the service or terminate it.
