We were not better prepared for COVID-19.The public was not taking this as a serious pandemic. The lack of diagnosing tests in many developing and under developed countries is a major reason for this.Eventhough the government took measures to control the spread through public meetings, gatherings etc. people were reluctant to follow it as such.People going outside without wearing mask, not washing hands properly ,avoiding the government rules, neglecting the quarantine rules etc. strengthened the spread of COVID-19. Many hospitals in the rural as well as urban areas were having lack of space and facilities to accommodate the patients.Eventhough science has developed far better, lack of vaccine against this epidemic caused the wide spread of this disesase. The initial response of many countries to this disease was slow. Before it could have been controlled,it spread to millions across the world.Lack of facilities, lack of capacity of hospitals to hold the patients, unawareness among the people, economic crisis all show that we were not prepared for this.COVID-19 has proved that health is important than wealth.

Looking forward - What should we be thinking about to be better prepared for the next financial crisis? Consider how the following groups (i.e. financial institutions, government, central banks, households, businesses) could better take responsibility in reducing their own risks and/or the overall financial market risks. Finally, when do you think we will we have another financial crisis (i.e. approximate date), and what might...
