Customs is an institution or agency in a country that is responsible for collecting taxes and controlling the flow of goods, including animals, freight, personal and domestic goods. The movement of people inside and outside the country is monitored by the migration authorities under different names and arrangements. Immigration authorities always check the proper documents, check that a person has the right to enter the country, detain people who want to be under a national or international arrest warrant, and prevent the entry of people they consider dangerous to the country compare illegal migration.

Customs are considered to be tax items that levy taxes and other duties on imports or exports. In recent decades, the concept of customs functions has expanded considerably and now focuses on three major issues: taxation, security and trade facilitation.
