Expert Solution

As in this case , there are these types of many family and patients who are uncomfortable to be checked by male nurse or doctor .

The reason may be safety issues , trust issue , religious purpose , or it can be individual thoughts.

In these type of situation , health care team can provide best service by examining female patient in presence of family member (i.e. husband in this case) or female attendant .

This couple belongs to Saudi Arabia where females are kept under burkha , so they did not feel comfortable by examining male nurse or practitioner . So its better to examine in presence of her husband .

Health care system should recruit more females in service of health delivery so that patient feels comfortable to visit doctors.

Home health care is also an option for providing quality health services at home with family centered care making comfortable for both female and family.

Female attendant is must during examining female patient.
