A nurse advocates the rights of the patient in the patient care also from the family. Standing with every rights of the patient and governing the care is a very essential part in the professional practice.

A religious harmony is very important in social equilibrium. Patients may differ in their religion, culture ,tradition etc. Every individual has the right to believe on his own wishes and wills. We should admit and accept it as a nurse. Helping the patient in meeting his religious needs , standing with him and keep a therapeutic communication skills in the patient care is a duty of a nurse. nurse may have his/her own religious beliefs , still has to understand and tolerate other's religious concepts also.then only the harmony become possible. It helps in the smooth rendering of care and treatment in her career.

Religion is actually a sentiments for all, and everyone will possess values on it, even for those who are aesthetic. So accepting the patients ideology and arranging a holistic environment is also an advocacy of a nurse. This can help to maintain an equilibrium in the religious tolerance for nurses , even for the students. It will start to reflect in the society then.
