What is meant by Complacency is the enemy of curiosity? Provide examples.
An entrepreneur has so much quality like vision, passion, smartness, and strength of purpose, but the best quality they have is curiosity.
Another hand, complacency is an enemy of entrepreneurship. Defined complacency is a feeling of fruitless satisfaction with oneself or one's accomplishments. Curiosity is an important thinking process.
In an organization, there has no satisfaction with work, profit, and many other things.
In business, no entrepreneur gets the satisfaction of the work done by him. Whatever work he does, he feels that the work can be done in a better way so that his business can profit in the future.
Complacency: The Silent killer
1.) Take success for granted: Some entrepreneurs start taking profits and success very heavily. They feel that their profit will always remain a profit and will never turn into a loss, so they remain self-satisfied, which has a very bad effect on the organization.
2.) Loose focus: Some people give up the things that make them successful. They do not know that strong currents drive people away from the edges.
3.) Fail to learn: Some people put success on their head, they think they know everything - and no one dares to tell them anything.
4.) Lose sense of pride: Some people lose their passion and become careless.
So, these all are the complacency who is the enemy of curiosity.
For example :
1. If an entrepreneur will be complacent means satisfied with his/her current growth then he will not look for other ways to improve his/her business. And he/she will not use his curiosity to expand his/her business.
2. If scientists/physicists will be complacent and not use their
curiosity to explore mysteries in the world then there will be no
more cool inventions.
