Flexibility stigma is a term that describes the worker's perception that uses the flexible arrangements at work places for care purposes are less committed and less productive to the workplace. The employees who use flexible work options often thinks that they are inclined to the tasks even harder and longer to prove themselves “worthy,” and it causes negates on few advantages of usage of the benefit in the first place. To address the fear of employee on being “sidelined’, not getting work of their interest, being passed over for a hike in salary or promotion and being resented by their colleagues can cause de-motivation at work place. Thus to deal with the flexibility stigma the management and employees should actively understand listen to their perceptions. Taking an approach of team work ensures that needs of all are fulfilled and that solutions are arrived at in an approach that serves the greater requirements. Moreover for an effective flexible work, it is important to create and maintain an open flow of ideas, outlines clear communication and shared expectations, and clearly inform the rules of the road. These parameters can reduce the stigma and encourage consistent enforcement of the an effective usage of flexible arrangements on work a companywide
