25. a) How would you classify unemployment caused by an increase in job firings (Structural, Frictional, or Cyclical?
b) Would an increase in the number of jobs firing suggest that it was becoming easier or more difficult for people to find jobs? Explain.
Firstly let us clear with the all given terms
STRUCTURAL UNEMPLOYMENT- It happens due to change in technology or some new demand in the workforce due to which many peoples are able to cope up with and this results in the loss of jobs
FRICTIONAL UNEMPLOYMENT-It happens due to many reasons like changing of previous jobs or finding a new one
CYCLICAL UNEMPLOYMENT-It happens due to change in the business cycle because sometimes business is doing good and sometimes it does not and due to this there is a scene of unemployment.
a.>So job firings can be classified under structural unemployment because it can be due to change in working technology and many workers may not be able to cope up with it
b.>It will actually become more difficult to find a new job in case of firing because as technology is updated which means many companies are going to follow it and they are not going to hire the employees who are not capable of coping with the change.
