A study of hand reaction time among Indian hockey players is conducted. The purpose is to compare visual with auditory reaction time. Visual reaction time is measured by noting the time needed to respond to a light signal; auditory reaction time is the time needed to respond to a click of an electric switch. These times are noted for 15 subjects.
Is there evidence, based on the sign test, to conclude that the visual reaction time differs significantly from the auditory reaction time?
