These both are medications used for COPD, and always used in combination. But it is recommended to take bronchodilator first,this will open up the air passages of the lungs to make it easy for the air to pass in and out of the lungs. Bronchodilator will take minimum five minutes for this process then administer corticosteroid. Corticosteroid acts by lowering the swelling of the breathing passges and lungs.
