John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth's theories is regarding theory called as attachment theory. The attachment theory states that the attachment is like a emotional bond which is formed when we pay attention and are deeply concerned about the person, relationships, etc around us. By formation of this attachment we increase the chances of success of a relationship and in case of our child, by attachment we imporve the changes of the child's survival. To practice this theory we can extrapolate the principles and fundamental attachment as a bond to various aspects of our lives such as our relationships with family or close friends. If we care and are deeply concerned with lets say our friends then we spontaneously create a bond which leads to attachment with them and that transcends into the emotional bonding which strengthen this into the strong attachment between the friend and us. The same attachment theory in daily life can be used for caring and formation of an emotional bond between our jobs, cars, etc. When we deeply care for our close objects, people, employment we tend to form a emotional bonds organically which further leads to attachment and development of the loyalty along with it.
