What are particular worries for Mckinley and
Rooselvelt? What do they say about Americans and their
future?
William Mckinley is the 25th President of US. He asserted that the country was suffering from industrial disturbances and they need some speedy recovery. Also, the financial system needs to be revisited and value of the dollar has to be kept intact. He even introduced Dingley Tariff Law to protect their industries against foreign goods. He dreamt of a global empire and led the nation to victory in the Spanish-American war. He wanted to remind Americans to refrain from factionalism.
Roosevelt also guided America through its greatest domestic crisis and foreign crisis. His policies like New Deal, helped strengthen America to fight against The Great Depression. He also refirmed banking and financial sectors and revived American agrarian economy. His leadership gave Americans hope and aspirations in their darkest hours of The Great Depression and World War II and fundamentally reshaped the relationship between the federal government and the American people.
