Increase in the productivity of labor will makes labors to be efficient and it will increase the demand for labor. As a result, wage of labor will be increased, because higher demand can be catered at higher price even if supply of labor does not change. It will help firms employed more workers as long as their productivity per unit of dollar does not become equal to the productivity of capital per dollar employed.
