Why it is so difficult for hospital managers to establish specific objectives in all areas of the hospital especially in treatment areas.
Application of specific objectives for hospital managers involves formulating policies and protocols that can be used by the staff to deal with specific situations. Once the objectives are specified inherently become rigid and leave no room for any improvisation or or out of the protocol treatment strategies. specific objectives especially in the area of treatment is not possible for the hospital managers as the cases vary from person to person and that variation can still be observed in cases of treatment types which varies disease to disease or injury to injury. Specific objectives in this case will be a rigid policy framework which will be violated everytime and out of the ordinary situation comes which is more than of fun we observe in case of treatment areas. Per cases belonging to multiple treatment areas and multiple specialities the objectives differ from each department and showed us the methodology and mode of treatment. So the hospital managers need to follow and formulate policies which vary along with the treatment. so this is suggestive of the fact that for each and every treatment as well as each and every department in hospital the managers have to improvise and take decision with regarding to policy framework and establish objectives which are not very specific to the treatment areas and can be used as a guidance but not as a rigid set of rule book which will help in providing the treatment to the patient in real time while making appropriate changes for the is possible care air and patient management in the hospital.
