1. Types of hospital ownerships

a. Private nonprofit - PPP based organizations run these. Few NGO's and International non-profit organizations fund and support for running these hospitals.

b. Proprietary: Privately owned and runned hospitals,

c. District: State run hospitals that majorly include secondary and teritiary health care centres.

d. County- run mostly through community funding. They include primary health care centres.

2. Types of healthcare delivery systems

a. Managed Care :  Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) that offer preventive care and other services for a monthly fee and Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs) that offer a fee-for-service system.

b.Concierge Services: Requires a flat monthly payment in exchange for medical services.

c.Telemedicine: It allows patients to use phone or video technology to interact with physicians.

d. Self-Directed Services: Care focuses on the individual patient and can even allow people to recruit and hire providers for their own needs.

3. Delivery systems relating to the concepts of public health:

Nine essential health services in delivery of systems are categorised into three groups.

a. Assessment: Monitoring health status to identify community health problems; and, diagnosing and investigating health problems and health hazards in the community.

b. Policy development: informing, educating and empowering people about health issues; mobilizing community partnerships to identify and solve health problems; and, developing policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts.

c. Assurance: enforcing laws and regulations that protect health and ensure safety; linking people to needed personal health services and assuring the provision of health care when otherwise unavailable.
