Determine whether a bond between each of the following pairs of atoms would be pure covalent, polar covalent, or ionic. Drag the appropriate items to their respective bins. Br and Br, N and O, C and S, K and O
Bond between Br and Br will be pure covalent bond, since the electronegativity of both atom is same.
Bond between N and O will be polar covalent bond, due to the electronegativity difference between nitrogen and oxygen.
Bond between C and S will be pure covalent bond, since electronegativity of both Carbon and sulfur is same that is 2.5.
Bond between K and O will be ionic bond, due to the large electronegativity difference between potassium and oxygen.
