i) We learned in lectures that to increase gm, one needs to increase collector current subsequently power consumption. There are two ways to increase collector current. What are they?
ii) Show that gm of a BJT in active mode is larger than that in saturation mode
iii) What is rbe? rbe has two components, what are they and which one dictates?
iv) Show that gm, go, and rbe are all related to the DC current of BJTs (This is the reason that these parameters are small-signal parameters as they are defined at a specific DC operating point).
