What are measures to avoid or prevention of cross contaminating substances when working in the lab?
1)You should separate each solution when you are going to prepare them,. This will avoid any contamination between each solution.
2)Use clean a different beakers for each solution.
3)Use different pipettes to prepare each solution. If you use the same pipette you will contaminate your substances.
What does control, treatment and parameter mean in biology labs
1)A control allows you to study the results under standard or normal conditions, in order to compare these results with the results obtained in the experimental group.
2)The treatment is the independent variable that you selected to study. For example, a drug is a treatment that you will use to test the results on a group of patients.
3)A parameter is the conditions that you establish for your experiment. These parameters are controlled by you and it will allow you to dismiss any other variable that could affect your work.
