What does Maslow mean by the hierarchy of prepotency?
Maslow by the hierarchy of prepotency meant that the lower level needs are required to be satisfied before a Person moves on to higher level needs. According to Maslow humans are satisfied by five basic needs. First the are psychological, safety and affiliation which are low level order needs and high order needs are Esteen and self actualisation. The physiological needs are the most prepotent and self-actualization are the least preoptent
