Ethics means the well-founded standards of right and wrong that prescribe what humans ought to do, usually in terms of rights, obligations, benefits to society, fairness, or specific virtues.

This provides the guidance for health care workers that how to act in a therapeutic manner, what is right and wrong. The health care often relies on the principles of respect for autonomy, nonmaleficence, beneficence, and justice and veracity.

The morals and values provide guidance for the professionals themselves, to furnish a set of principles against which the conduct of the professionals may be measured, and to provide the public with a clear statement of the ethical obligations.

The health informatics has the drawbacks because it may create ethical dilemmas for nurses. The set of ethical priciples, its morality and values helps to avoid these dilemma and helps to take a right decision at right time.
